Thunder Road has a new name in its history books. More than two decades after a woman last won a Late Model feature at the Vermont track, Sunday brought another milestone. Taylor Hoar found herself at the center of the afternoon after a closely fought race that came down to a late restart.
The result marked an important moment for both Hoar and the historic short track, but getting there required a strong run through a competitive field.
