đ Dear Motorheads,
On Monday, the Lucky Dog was only half sure about the âmystery driverâ replacing an empty #19 seat at Joe Gibbs Racing next year. Now, halfway through the week, we are confirmed that it is indeed Chase Briscoe who will take over from Martin Truex Jr, once the 43-year-old finally decides to disappear into the wilderness.
But as is the nature of the NASCAR nation, some doubters identified a potential problem within the #19 team. A problem that has plagued MTJ multiple times before, and still does. This problem has been around the #19 pit boxes for quite some, and it (or rather, he) comes from The Land Down Under. No, weâre not talking about Shane van Gisbergen. But donât fret, as weâll talk more about it in todayâs jam-packed edition.
Onto the big announcement from The Lucky Dog Garage. We have a new crew member within our folds! And we cannot wait to reveal this absolute trailblazer of a human to all you amazing people. If you are wondering who she is or what role is she here to play, you will find all those answers in todayâs newsletter. But before that, here is a small spoiler.
If you wish to meet her and tell her about your crazy NASCAR stories, then youâll be able to find her in the pits at Nashville for the upcoming Ally 400. Aside from this, the Lucky Dog has an even bigger surprise waiting for you.
So let's dive in!
