The Winston 500 Talladega race from the 2000 season was the last time fans saw the Intimidator clinch a race win. Earnhardt lived up to his name of “Mr. Restrictor Plate” and pulled off a resilient comeback. In the final five laps, the driver of the No. 3 RCR Chevy passed 18 cars, and on the final lap, he charged back into the lead. A crowd of 170,000 roared as their hero stormed to the start-finish line for one of the most iconic wins in NASCAR history. Relive this memorable win by Earnhardt here. |
