Denny Hamlin's father, Dennis Hamlin, sacrificed everything for his son's racing dreams, mortgaging their home twice, selling his prized 1932 Ford, and nearly going broke to fund short-track starts at age five. Dennis, who ran Chesterfield Trailer and Hitch Repair, remained Hamlin's biggest fan, saving memorabilia in his garage. In the 2025 playoffs, Hamlin chased his championship dreams partly for his loving dad and dedicated his 60th win at Las Vegas Motor Speedway to his father.
