NASCAR is finally acknowledging the drawbacks on the Next Gen car. After relying solely on Goodyear tires, they are now increasing the engine power. The idea is that an increase in horsepower will somehow change the overall racing product. Well that is one theory.
But if we are to go by Kyle Larson’s confession, the reality is completely different. And it seems like expectations should be kept in check as far as on-track performance is concerned.
