Ford, Chevy, and Toyota have been the powerhouse NASCAR manufacturers for some time now. With three Cup Series championship in a row with Team Penske, it looked like Ford had established itself a lucrative partner for teams.
It is only natural that teams would want to link with winning partners, but this dynamic is shifting this year. After sweeping the Xfinity and Cup championships Chevy has shifted its attention towards expansion.
And unfortunately, Ford has found itself on the receiving end of this drastic change within the NASCAR garage.
