Hamlin Defends Driver Against ‘Stupid’ Remark

“One of the dumbest things I've ever seen” is just one of the harsh things Brad Keselowski said, taking a flamethrower to 23XI Racing driver Riley Herbst’s late, ambitious move at Daytona. And yeah, when a former champ drops a line like that, you know it’s not staying in the garage. The quote did laps on social media, sparking the question: Was Brad right to say that?

But just when it felt like Herbst was left hanging out to dry, in walked the team owner, ready to back his driver and give the story a new twist.

Right or wrong, it was good to see Hamlin have Herbst’s back.
