On June 2024, New Hampshire Motor Speedway marked a NASCAR milestone as the Cup Series ran on wet-weather tires during an oval race for the first time. After a 2-hour rain delay, NASCAR instructed the teams to start the race on wet tires. The overtime finish also saw the use of this tire compound as the track was still damp. |
