Keselowski Highlights Real Issue Behind NASCAR's Road Course Push

Hey, NASCAR Fans!

Long before NASCAR grew into a popular American event, regional standouts who built their reputations on dirt tracks and short ovals shaped the sport. Those local competitors played an important role in helping stock car racing gain broader recognition.

 Unfortunately, one of those early contributors has recently passed away following an extended illness, marking the loss of a respected figure from NASCAR’s very beginning.

The 96-year-old veteran driver was one of the first drivers to participate in the inaugural NASCAR race in 1949.
