👋 Hey Motorheads,

In our last edition, we talked about Kyle Larson’s questionable move at Indianapolis that got him the win but also had the whole world calling foul on NASCAR. So, naturally, the Lucky Dog thought we must give this whole fuss about the restart a closer look today. A quick heads-up: there’s more to this one than just Larson’s dubious on-track antics.

On the topic of suspicious on-track antics, remember the move Corey LaJoie made on Kyle Busch at Pocono? Looks like all the backlash from that has weighed heavily on his future at Spire Motorsports. As of 2025, the race team will field a new driver for its #7 entry, and some rumors have been signaling an ironic twist of fate for Corey. But more on that later.

Other than that, we have been hearing some rumors that would surely get a lot of you down. It is about the still active 7-time Cup Champion Jimmie Johnson, who may not be so very soon. So yeah! We may be on a break for the Olympics, but the NASCAR world has kept its eyes wide, wide open.

Let's dive in!

In today’s newsletter, we’ll uncover these top stories from the NASCAR universe:
