Rowdy had a rough 2025 NASCAR season. Winless in the Cup Series for the second straight year, there’s little to celebrate for the two-time champion. With a crown-jewel race scheduled late in the year, he has the chance to flip the script. But just when things were looking good for Busch, he found himself in deep water once again.

Dale Earnhardt vs. Jeff Gordon remains one of NASCAR’s defining rivalries, and few moments capture it better than the 1999 Daytona 500. The two icons had finished 1–2 seven times, but this duel stood above the rest. Gordon, piloting his famed DuPont Chevy, took the white flag with Earnhardt glued to his bumper. The Intimidator threw everything he had at him, but Gordon never flinched, holding strong to score his second Daytona 500 victory. |
