Kyle Larson Comes in Clutch at Phoenix

November 02, 2025 | Edition #445
👋 Hey, Motorhead!
A father in poor health. A mechanically troubled car. And a lawsuit looming large. These were just a few things we know Hamlin was going through as he ended up leading 208 laps at Phoenix.
For a moment, it looked like a done deal. The same fans who jeered at him a few months ago were on their feet, rooting for the blue and white #11 car to bring it home. But as it happened, an unfortunate caution, a bad strategy call, and a messed up playoff system kept Hamlin from completing his story.
This was probably the first time the fans were angry to see a 'Villain' lose. And now, there’s even chatter that Hamlin might leave the sport heartbroken. Just like Carl Edwards did.
