After winning multiple races last year, the team has found itself searching for the speed needed to keep pace with Joe Gibbs Racing’s Toyotas. Whether it’s the new package or Chevrolet’s new body, Hendrick hasn’t been able to find the breakthrough it needs.

Kyle Larson is feeling the pressure, too. While the winless streak has forced him to acknowledge the team’s struggles, his latest admission was even more concerning. Larson believes Hendrick Motorsports may not be in championship contention if its current level of speed and performance continues.
