Let's try and imagine Larson's day-to-day for a second, alright?
The guy has just won the 2025 NASCAR title. All that season long grit finally paid off for him. The 36 gruelling weeks are now behind him, and anyone at this point would imagine him sipping margaritas on a beach somewhere. Right?
But in reality, he is back into the thick of it, thinking about racing!
Well, you may have heard that he is looking to cut back on his sprint racing calendar. But what he announced more recently is something that kinda made his first statement pretty ironic.

Myth: The Winners Get the Biggest Purse
Busted! It makes sense at first. The winner should get the biggest prize, right? But in NASCAR, the top earner isn’t always the one who finishes first. Thanks to sponsorship deals and star power, a second or fifth-place driver can make far more. For example, Jeff Gordon often earned more than Kurt Busch simply because he was a bigger name.
