No one truly knows the discussions team owners had with NASCAR over the new charter agreement. Some say the France family was against permanent charters, but there was hope for a new financial system. Well, if we are to go by the recent developments in the lawsuit, it looks like NASCAR leadership hasn’t been completely honest. What’s worse is that they’ve gone back on the promise they once made to the teams.
