NASCAR Changes Clash Dates Again

Hey, NASCAR Fans!
Perhaps NASCAR should’ve just moved the Clash to Daytona. That is the feeling most of the race fans were left with after the sanctioning body made another announcement. After the track activity was postponed to Monday, NASCAR is now forced to adjust the schedule further, and an odd mid-week schedule is probably going to push away a lot of race fans.

The season opener clash has been moved to another date after NASCAR was unable to get the track activity up and running on Monday.

The 1981 Daytona 500 remains one of the most memorable events in NASCAR history. Richard Petty piloted the famed No. 43 Buick, with Dale Inman calling the shots during the race. Inman took a gamble by bringing Petty in for a final pit stop and sending him back out without new tires. Bobby Allison tried his best, but he couldn’t spoil King Petty’s milestone seventh Daytona 500 victory. Here are snippets from the iconic duel at the 1981 Daytona 500.
