Things got pretty tense between NASCAR and the teams in court. Given the details that came out, it felt like both parties were beyond the point of reaching a settlement.

Yet in a surprising turn of events, NASCAR has decided to ease the pressure on 23XI and FRM. Is it a diversion or a calculated move? Nothing can be said for certain, but MJ and Denny Hamlin seem to have caught a good break.
