Finding a ride in NASCAR is one thing, and securing sponsorship is another. Without sponsors, drivers are irrelevant unless they have the money themselves or they are tied to a legacy team.
A tier-1 Chevy team is facing a similar issue right now. Having signed one of the talents that could someday represent them in the Cup Series, they are yet to secure his ride for the entirety of 2026.
The driver needs to find sponsors for 10 more races this season.
